Hyacinth Patricia Bovell was born on November 26, 1941 in Port of Spain, Trinidad West Indies. When asked about how long she has been writing, her response was somewhat vague, “I can’t recall exactly when I started: I know that I often wrote notes to my friends”. She believes that this gift was placed within her by God from the beginning and that it was only a matter of time before it would erupt like a volcano to affect the lives of anyone who read her works.

Hyacinth is widowed and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her sons, Robert and Khalil and her granddaughter, Brea.
