CONDEMNATION is reproof severe To the unbeliever it is strong censure It is not meant for those in Christ Jesus But comes from the father of lies himself. So if you have not answered the call And you should ever stumble and fall Be prepared to experience strong disapproval. CONVICTION, on the other hand Stirs your unshakable belief In the One who took away your guilt and your grief. It’s the Holy Ghost in you making you uneasy It’s when your stomach begins to feel "queasy." Propelling you to run from that ungodly place And return to the protection of His mercy and grace So, if you’re in Christ But you’ve stumbled and fallen

GET UP

Don’t fall victim to the world’s condemnation But turn at once to the God of your salvation. What you’re feeling is simply a sense of conviction Instilled in you by the Father above To encourage you to shed the old To steer and welcome you back into the fold PRAISE JEHOVAH TSIDKENU! God our Righteousness!

H.P. Bovell writes as The Poetess, but from my perspective she writes as the voice of God, being lead by the Spirit of God. Her skills are unimaginable, she writes with spirit, faith, hope, love and truth. It will open your mind to the Glory that surrounds us all, only if we will open up our blinded eyes and see. Faith pours from her writings bring you a new Trust, and causing you to be renewed in spirit. Faith comes by hearing the WORD of God, and H.P. Bovell sure does bring the message of God. It is so peaceful and soothing, It is comfort that passes all understanding. My favorite poems in this book are, the one listed above, "This Do in Remembrance of Me.", "Walk with God and He will Walk with You", "A Vision of Retirement", "Now Faith is Pleasing to God", "Of Who's Tribe are You", and "Agapeo". It is so hard to list the poems that I love the most because I love them all. As I read each and everyone of the the Spirit flowed through my room and through my spirit, giving me a treasure to hold forever. I give this book a Five Stars and I want to thank The Poetess, H. P. Bovell for sharing your faith, your hope, your belief with us, for we share the same knowledge and truth. I know many people will be healed from their blinded hearts through your beautiful words, Thank you for being a Servant for the Master in Heaven, Our Lord Jesus Christ; Our Savior... Much Blessings to you in your writing. I will definitely get a copy of this book for my library and for my ministry.

THE SEQUEL

I recall vividly the planning and the preparation That preceded the arrival of my first born On that June morn I will never forget the first contraction, the caudal and the pushing I sang, “Oh Lordee pick a bale of cotton, Oh Lordee pick a bale of hay” And the nurses laughed Then out came Robert, quietly .But needed a slap on his behind to say ‘I’m here’ He’s still the same today. Four years later came Khalil. Full of energy from the start. Kicking. poking, false labor, slow beating heart Instead of cheerful anticipation There was apprehension about the anticipated after pain True to form Khalil broke his water before we could complete the registration Yet when the real test came he had to be untangled from his cord And helped out He’s still the same today sometimes energized sometimes deep in thought.

Getting ready for The Sequel feels like the 2nd birth- the loss of innocence Book #1 moved smoothly through the phases 48 Poems or 50 pages Book #2 is screaming New Memories, New Messages, More Musings!! 20 down and 28 to go Push, push, push. Let’s take it up a notch Things are moving fast Will I be accepted by the PA Cast?

BASKETBALL

Ball bouncing back and forth
Arms flaying, over here, over here
Sneakers squeaking
Keep moving, keep moving
Everyone in the stadium is standing
TIME OUT!
Back up, back up. The
Audience is cheering
Loudly for their teams when their opponents
Land on their derrieres

Ball moving up court and down court
Athletes following
Shoving each other with
Knees, shoulders and
Elbows.
TIME OUT!
Ball is again in the air
And into the basket
Leaders are high-fiving, hugging and
Laughing with each other.

Bounce, bounce, bounce
Audience is on their feet
Someone is being taken away
Kicking and screaming
Everyone is calling
TIME OUT!
Ball is back in play
Anticipation (and anxiety) is in the air
Last quarter had ended

NIA means Purpose in Swahili It is what God has appointed for me It was put into motion At my conception And established in the womb Long before I was born

My Purpose is like a strong tower Because it’s a place of power And I’m going to run a good race Until I arrive at that place God is on my side So I know He will provide

No demon from hell can stop me No words carelessly spoken can discourage me I was consecrated and set aside So by His laws I’ll abide For they will lead me down the path To what He has ordained for my life

Lord, open my eyes so I may see All that you have designed for me

In her book, Mrs. Bovell points us to Christ as the Creator, the Messiah, Emanuel (God with us), and the risen Savior. Additionally, she reminds the reader that "He's Coming Back Again" to resurrect the righteous dead and transport them along with the faithful who are alive, to the New Jerusalem, which He is preparing for those who love Him.

Memories, Messages & Musings truly has a message for everyone. These messages range from the awesomeness of walking with God, the beauty of singing His praises, the reward of "faith plus works", the practicality of "Choices, Decisions and Consequences", to "A Prayer of Rededication".

The reader is encouraged to acknowledge and worship the great God through whose inspiration Mrs. Bovell could present practical sermonettes in her book.
