In the middle of the night, I roll over and write The words that I hear Are always loud and quite clear Golden nuggets they are For my readers both near and far.
In the middle of the night I roll over and write Words that recall encounters, engagements, Reunions with family and friends. They encourage and spread cheer. There’s always a message in there.
In the middle of the night, I roll over and write. Sometimes it’s an anagram to a friend Celebrating a birthday or on the mend: Words that echo a special message Or paraphrase a scripture passage.
In the middle of the night
I roll over and write.
Golden nuggets spoken with love
Sent from the Father above
Through the medium of poetry and mirth
To His people here on earth.
THIS DO IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME
He said
"Eat of this bread
It represents my body broken for you."
And,"Drink of this cup
It represents my blood shed for you."
When you come together
(After forgiving your brother)
Do this in remembrance of me
Your brokeness and your bruises
Will be hung on a tree
Real soon, on Calvary.
But the blood I will shed
From my side and my head
Will heal you immediately.
Therefore, do this in remembrance of me
We do it as often as we would
And whenever we could.
The broken body and shed blood
Was the ultimate sacrifice
Made by our Savior, The Christ
For forgiveness of sins
So we do it in remembrance of Him
HUGS
To Brea on her 7th birthday
Hugs are cuddly signs of love
Designed for us by the father above
Hugs are special, and so are you
They'll always be my gift to you.
